5:90Al-Ma'idah · Verse 90
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا ٱلْخَمْرُ وَٱلْمَيْسِرُ وَٱلْأَنصَابُ وَٱلْأَزْلَـٰمُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ فَٱجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), and gambling, and Al-Ansâb1, and Al-Azlâm (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan’s (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful.2

إِنَّمَا... التأكيد على تحريم الخمر والميسر والأنصاب والأزلام؛ فهي خبث من عمل الشيطان.
فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ... وجوب ترك المعصية نفسها، ومجالسها، وما يُفضي إليها من أسباب وأصحاب وبيئات.
لَعَلَّكُمْ... لا يحصل الفلاح إلا باجتناب المحرمات، وأن الفوز والنجاة مطلبٌ لكل مؤمن.

میں نے اس آیت کو برسوں احکام کے طور پر پڑھا۔ آج پہلی بار اسے انسان کی حفاظت کے طور پر دیکھ رہی ہوں۔
