5:51Al-Ma'idah · Verse 51
۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلْيَهُودَ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
51. O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliyâ’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliyâ’), then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust).

آمَنُواْ... تذكير المؤمنين بعهد الإيمان، ومقتضى الإيمان يوجب الطاعة ويُبعِد عن صفات المنحرفين.
لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ... شرف الإيمان يمنع الاعتماد التام على غير الله في تدبير شؤونه، وبخاصة إذا كان بغير المسلم.
الْيَهُودَ... اختلاف الدين والنفرة وتكذيب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سبب اختصاص الفريقين؛ فيعمّ النهي كافّة فرق الكفّار.
وَالنَّصَارَى... اليهود أشدّ عداوةً للمؤمنين؛ لتقديمهم ومعاداتهم للفريقين ...
سورة المائدة... تدور السورة حول الأمر بالوفاء بالعقود، والالتزام بالشرائع والحدود، وعدم مشابهة أهل الكتاب.
